  • Meet the Maker; Matt Gregory

    With little intervention, Matt Gregory allows the grapes to find their own feet in his beautiful unfined wines, expressive of not just the time they were harvested, but the place they were grown. We are welcoming our friend Matt all the way from his Leicestershire Wolds vineyard to share with us a catalogue of delicious English wines.

    Cyclic Beer Farm were founded in Barcelona in 2016, initially beginning with a focus on mixed fermentation beer before expanding into fruit co-ferments, ciders, and wines.     Modeled after California outdoor wine fairs, come enjoy wine by-the-glass alongside beautiful views and family-friendly activities in the park!

  • The VERY CASUAL Sheffield Wine Week Closing Party

    For the first two years, The Old Shoe hosted an official Sheffield Wine Week closing party. But, unsurprisingly, a lot of people were very tired and perhaps hungover and these closing parties were sparsely attended! Whoops!
    So this year, we’re prepending our ‘Closing Party’ with the terms ‘VERY CASUAL’. If you want to wish this year’s Wine Week happy trails until next year, feel free to come on down. But if you need to catch up on your sleep before the work week, well, then, feel free to do that too!
